RF: rheumatoid factor. CCP: anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide. SR: Lowering reaction. CRP: C-reactive protein. Low RF or CCP: <3 x upper limit of the reference range. High: more than 3 x upper limit of the reference range
Requirement: the patient has at least 1 head joint, and the condition cannot be better explained by another condition. Score of at least 6 points required for definite diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis.
